Alice In Wonderland

"Alice in Wonderland"
by Lewis Carroll

Show Dates:
April 23rd, 24th, & 25th, 2010
Special School Matinee: Wednesday, April 21st, 2010

Charlotte Chorpenning's delightful stage adaptation features all the zany characters you've come to love:  the Mad Hatter & Dormouse, Duchess & Cook, Tweedledum & Tweedledee, White Rabbit & Cheshire Cat, Walrus & Carpenter, and of couse, the Red Queen & King.  Director Marilyn Pilkey applies her artistic eye to create one appealing stage picture after another, in a play that flows seamlessly from one vignette to the next.   Local songwriter-musician Steve Strickland has written Original Incidental Music for this show which he will perform live, with the help of his band members.  The play features local residents of ALL ages, including some very young "Oysters," who do get eaten!   Sunday's matinee will include a post-show "Tea Party" with cast members, to which all children are invited.
